Jens Bangs Stenhus

Built in 1624 as a five-storey mansion, today Jens Bangs Stenhus is among the most impressive buildings in the town of Aalborg. The house used to belong to the merchant Jens Bang who loved grandeur and was very prosperous. The building is among the largest Renaissance mansions in this part of Europe, which is characterized by brick construction, sandstone ornamentation and a roof with curved gables.
