Main hotel was a very interesting historic buiding which had been very well maintained
Feather pillows would have been lovely on the beds and more hot water in the early evening.

27-29 High Street
Clean & tidy room. Breakfast menu, service and preparation v. good. Comfortable bed.
We were not happy with the noise from the bar downstairs we could hear conversations taking place in there and could not get to sleep until the bar closed, the room could do with sound proofing. The bathroom facilities were inferior, the bath had hairs in it and the bath surface was pitted and stained. There was no shower facility. The bathroom was very cramped, a good job neither of us were very large as we would have had a problem using the toilet. On the plus side there was plenty of hot water although the hot tap was on the right not the left as you would expect.
