Westside, Wimbledon Common
very pleasent enviroment and a lot of thought goes into making your stay work smoothly
poor wifi signal strength in the bedrooms made it impossible to use my computer on line

The Broadway
This is one of the largest and most established hotels in Wimbledon, and a GBP 1.5 million refurbishment was completed in June 2008.
Its location and the car park. The bedroom was nice enough.
I was very disappointed. The hotel was under complete renovation, which we were not told about so the restaurant and bar were not in use. We had booked a Superior non-smoking room and were given a double smoking one which didn't smell very pleasant. When we asked to change rooms, we were told that we had only given a preference for a non-smoking room, and only upon me sayign I am 6 months pregnant did they give us a non-smoking one. The staff were not friendly at all. We arrived 15 minutes before check in time and were todl to sit and wait till 2pm as there were no rooms ready, but no-one had even phoned to check if there was a room ready. Not a good experience.
